Changing Cayman is a collaborative effort between the Planning Department and the Cayman Islands National Archive

The working harbour in Hog Sty Bay continues to evolve over time. In this photo series you can see the removal of dockside warehousing, a result of the increased containerization of Cayman's port over the last few decades. Also of note is the improvements to the foreshore pedestrian environment, notably railings (Original photo 1974 courtesy of Mr. Ken Wright).
