Cardinall Street in downtown George Town has undergone relatively few changes in the past 30 years. Most notable is the addition and maturation of the street trees which now provide much needed respite from the sun for tourists, residents and business owners. The street has remained as a one-way street, although the direction of traffic has been reversed. (Original photo 1974 courtesy of Mr. Ken Wright).
